The JCB 714 is a superb all-round performer. The powerful engine and transmission keep everything running smoothly and there’s efficient dry disc braking front and rear to slow things down.

There are 6 forward gears and 3 reverse (with manual or automatic operation), providing a 41 kph forward or 30 kph reverse top speed. A body tipping angle of 84° provides effective material discharge.

A 36° articulation and independent rear chassis oscillation provides manoeuvrability, safety and positive ground engagement.

Standard limited slip diffs mean the JCB 714 has optimum traction even in treacherous terrain, while excellent all-round visibility aids manoeuvrability even more.

The JCB 714 is designed to keep its operator comfortable and therefore productive. There’s standard air conditioning, simple intuitive controls and, of course, great visibility.

To make the operator still more at home with the JCB 714, we’ve made routine servicing (and general service access) very easy. We’ve fitted a single piece engine cover that’s hinged at the cab, a hinged cooling pack, a battery isolator near the cab door, IP69 electrics and an EMS monitoring system to warn operators of problems. Finally, there’s ground level access to all grease points.
